Two members of the Department of Foreign Trade team, Carmen Pastor and Israel González, accompanied by the co-founder and academic director of TIMMIS Teams, Beatriz Fernández, will develop a presentation about the TIMMIS Entrepreneurship project with the aim of captivating the students of the Industrial School
The objective of the conference, which will take place next Friday, April 27 at 12:30 in the auditorium of the school, will be to announce the dynamics of this European project with which students can address, in a different way, their TFG, TFM or (extra)curricular practices. The different teams, which will put students in contact with public and private organizations, will in turn facilitate their self-awareness and development of their own cross-disciplinary skills, both in individual and group work.
The TIMMIS Entrepreneurship initiative was born out of the need for private companies to promote CSR and is a public-private collaboration led by the University of Valladolid and supported by the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valladolid, Nerba, FUESCyL, and Exportun. In addition, it is financed by the ERDF through the European program Interregy and contributes to the fulfillment of point 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (“Partnerships to achieve the objectives”). It also has, to this day, the institutional support of official bodies such as the Consulate of Romania, the Embassy of Cameroon, and the College of Economists of Valladolid, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Spain.
